Horse Dance Sticks

Visit this page and see awesome Horse Dance Sticks by Carol Louis

Horse Dance Sticks are historically a Sioux Tribe artistic tribute, made to honor a horse that was wounded or died in battle. The warrior would carve the head and hoof on a stick and use the actual hair from the horse for the mane and tail. They would then decorate the stick with colorful beads and paints, leather, cloth ribbon and feathers, etc. The Horse Dance Stick was used in the Sacred Horse Dance, which is still practiced to this day.

An artistic tribute to your special horse.
